It’s been the filming home for many Netflix projects over the years, including Flanagan’s past works such as Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Bly Manor, as well also for Lost in Space, Brand New Cherry Flavor, Christmas Chronicles, and Operation Christmas Drop. Should a deal make, Flanagan would take over the reins from David Gordon Green, who exited the rebooted franchise back in January. Universal and Blumhouse bought rights to The Exorcist from Morgan Creek back in July 2021 for $400M, and while the plan at that point was for at least three new films to be made, it’s unclear whether Flanagan would be on for more than one. We can speculate that The Florist (Vivien Leigh Biopic) can come out in 2025 at the earliest.

While other details are scarce, Netflix has already confirmed the show’s star-studded voice cast. Kohli has appeared in many Netflix original productions, thanks to his partnership with horror master Mike Flanagan, the man behind The Fall of the House of Usher and The Haunting of Hill House.
